Congratulations to Year 7 student, Amber Skinner, on receiving a 2023 City of Mandurah Sports Award.
Amber was nominated in a category with over 70 other amazing athletes, each of whom have represented WA at a National level or higher. Amber was invited to the event with five other finalists and was awarded a High Commendation in the category of Junior Sports Person of the Year.
She continues to take the Kite Surfing World by storm, achieving phenomenal success, particularly as a young female athlete in her chosen sport.
Amber will compete in Wave Nationals and Air National in February 2024 with her main goal of competing in Wave Worlds in 2025.
