Thank you for considering Frederick Irwin Anglican School for your child’s education. We are delighted to support you through the enrolment journey. (*Can be expanded)
Our main intake years are:
- Kindergarten (Halls Head and Meadow Springs Campus)
- Year 7 (Secondary Campus – Meadow Springs)
- Limited places are also available in Year 1 and Year 5 (Meadow Springs campus only)
Applications for all other year levels are welcome at any time and will be addressed as places arise. Due to high demand, we recommend submitting your registration at least two years in advance of your preferred intake year. Late applications will still be considered if places become available.
Stage 1 - Registration of Interest and Tour
- Begin the Enrolment process by completing the Registration of Interest Form. Complete a Registration of Interest form and pay the $100 Application Fee to place your child in our Enrolment Pool for consideration
- Sign up to attend a Tour to view our School. Experience Frederick Irwin firsthand by joining one of our guided School Tours. Meet our Principal and Executive Team, tour our facilities, and learn about our academic and co-curricular programs.
Intake Years (Kindergarten, Year 7)
Families will be contacted approximately 2 years before the intake year to provide Supporting Documentation. You’ll then be invited to attend an Information Session and will be led through the next stages of the enrolment process.
Non-Intake Years (all other year groups, and late applications)
Registrations are welcome at any time. Applicants will be added to our Enrolment Pool and contacted if vacancies arise. If no place is available in your preferred entry year, your application will automatically roll over to the following year.
Once your child progresses in the Enrolment Pool, you will be asked to provide Supporting Documentation (e.g. previous school reports). Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview with the Head of School.
Stage 2 - Waitlist
- Our Enrolments Team will assess to ensure all documents are collected
- You are contacted when the intake group is ready to be addressed
Stage 3 - Interview/ Letter of Offer
- Following a successful interview, a Letter of Offer will be sent out
- This includes start date, and staff contact information
Stage 4- Enrolment Application
Offer of Enrolment: Following a successful interview, you will receive an Enrolment Offer via email. To secure your child’s place:
- Complete the required documentation within the specified timeframe.
- Pay a non-refundable Enrolment Fee of $1500 (per family).
Stage 5 - Enrolled!
- Welcome to Frederick Irwin Anglican School!
- The enrolment process has been completed
Once your enrolment is complete, our Enrolments Team will confirm your child’s position at the school.
- Visit our New Starter Page to provide you with all the necessary information to prepare your child for their start at Frederick Irwin Anglican School. This includes:
- Uniform Appointment
- Booklists and BYOD
- Subject selections (Year 9 and above)
- Key dates and transition activities
