Carols on the Green

Dear Parents and Carers
We have made some exciting changes to our traditional ‘Carols in the Quad’ event this year!
- This years event will be hosted on our beautiful Kwobadiny Sports Centre’s oval and the event will be…..‘Carols on the Green’.
- Based on community feedback, we have moved the Carols to a Wednesday evening, for those who normally have had basketball games on a Tuesday.
- We have shaken up the set list, so there will be lots of new songs featured this year! Santa might also be handing out some candy canes.
- There will also be a silent disco for students.
Don’t forget to pre-order your flickering candles here ($3 a candle). Thank you to our Prefect Elect who will be running the Silent Disco, the candles and the programmes, and to our students who will be face painting on the evening as well.
Date: Wednesday 6 December 2023
Time:
- 4.30pm to 6.00pm: food trucks, face painting, silent disco, find a spot, candles and programmes handed out
- 5.00pm to 6.00pm: student performances
- 6.00pm – 7.30pm: carols event
Location: Kwobadiny Sports Oval
Parking: Primary school and Primary Oval. Overflow parking is available in the Kwobadiny Sports Centre parking bays.
Food Trucks: Fish and Chips, Bao, Baked and Loaded (coffee and baked goods), The Sweet Box Cart (ice cream) and Bubble Tea.
Activities for students:
- Face painting run by students (gold coin donation)
- NEW in 2023: Silent Disco for all students ($5 for 15mins)
Please remember to bring your picnic rugs, nibbles, insect repellent and Christmas cheer!
