NAIDOC Celebrations were a focus across both campuses.
At the Secondary Campus, we had former student from Class of 2015, Kyen Graham, give the Welcome to Country, and then the dancers from the Bindjareb Middars performed some traditional dances, with their leader Theo Kearing taking time to talk to students about Aboriginal culture and answer questions.
Halls Head Campus had Mark Collard, one of our parents, speak of his experience as an Aboriginal man and what 'For Our Elders' means.
Both Primary campuses have the Yirra Yaakin Theatre Company performing for the students.
