In Japanese classes last Term, students enjoyed some competitive fun!
They took part in a general knowledge quiz to see who knew the most about Japan, and also tested their hiragana reading skills with an online challenge. Students particularly enjoyed learning about the rules of the traditional Japanese game, Fukuwarai (meaning ‘lucky laugh’), which is played at New Years to welcome in the new year with laughter.
One participant is blindfolded and has to re-create the face, feature by feature… Some interesting faces were made!
