Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome back to another exciting term! We hope you had a restful break and are ready to dive into new adventures. As the leaves change colour and the air gets crisper, let’s embrace the opportunities that await us.

ANZAC Day Service and Holiday

On 24 April, we will commemorate ANZAC Day with a solemn service. During the Secondary School assembly, we will pay tribute to the brave men and women who served our nation. It’s a time to reflect on sacrifice, courage, and unity. Students are encouraged to attend their local services on ANZAC day.

Year 11 River Cruise

We have made some changes to the Year 11 Camp, one of the camp highlights has been the Year 11 River Cruise. This year, the River Cruise will be on the evening of 24 April. Students will be travelling to Perth by coach, attending the River Cruise and then returning to School. I am sure this will be an unforgettable experience as we sail along the Swan River from Perth to Fremantle and back. Students will enjoy the scenic views, dance to their favourite tunes, and create lasting memories with their classmates and teachers.

Students Involved in Shave for a Cure
Our compassionate students are making a difference! The Year 12 Prefects have initiated the School’s first Shave for a Cure. Many brave souls volunteered to participate in the Shave for a Cure event; there is still the opportunity to sign up. Girls can have their ponytails cut off and their hair donated for making wigs. Information about how students can join will be available in the daily notices. All participating students will need parental permission and must raise a minimum of $25 to be involved. On 10 May, boys will have their locks transformed into buzz cuts, and girls will have their pony tails chopped off, all in the name of raising funds for cancer research. Show your support by getting behind them and contributing to this worthy cause here.

School Photos in Week Three

Mark your calendars! School photos are scheduled for 3 May. Please ensure your child wears their uniform correctly, fix those ties, and practise your winning smiles. Whether it’s a goofy grin or a serious pose, these photos will capture memories that last a lifetime.

Warm regards
