Sustainability Committee - Containers for Change Case Study

Student Leaders Monday, 17 Oct 2022

Our Sustainbility Committee's hard work inroducing recycling to the School, has seen Frederick Irwin Anglican School become a case study for Containers for Change.

We have gone from no recycling, to being one of the Top 5 school Western Australia, resulting in the equivalent of approximately $500 that will be used for a charity of choice.

As part of this, Containers for Change filmed our Year 8 and 12 students who had been involved, asking them how the got the students involved, and the importance of recycling.

It was a wonderful experience for the students. Thank you to Sustainability Coordinator, Mrs Alison Robins for her work with this group in implementing this wonderful programme.
