At Halls Head Campus, students in Pre-Primary focused on exploring shapes in nature. The students collected some vegetables from the Campus vegetable garden, and Ms Jayne Warren also brought in some fruit and vegetables from Spud Shed that would have been thrown out.
The class then cut them up and created nature stamps, discussing shapes in nature and symmetry. The students made some great connections, for example, noticing that celery can look like the moon or a rainbow shape, and that capsicum slices can look like a flower.
