At Frederick Irwin Anglican School, we are proud to offer an exceptional Instrumental Music and Vocal Programme that nurtures talent and inspires creativity. Students can learn a variety of instruments from Year 3 to Year 12. With a wide range of ensembles and performance opportunities, our students experience music both within the school and out in the wider community.
From concerts and workshops to festivals, our programme provides countless chances for students to shine. Individual tuition is available for most instruments and voice, delivered by some of Western Australia’s most accomplished music educators.
Our campus comes alive each week with rehearsals for choirs, orchestras, bands, and specialist ensembles. Students enrolled in individual voice or instrumental lessons are encouraged to join at least one group, building confidence and teamwork through shared musical experiences.
Ensembles include:
- Junior and Senior Concert Bands
- Jazz Band
- Percussion Ensemble
- Senior and Intermedia String Ensembles
- Junior and Senior Guitar Ensembles
- Secondary Vocal Ensemble
- Flute Ensemble
Whether it’s classical, jazz, rock, or contemporary styles, there’s a place for every student to explore their passion for music at Frederick Irwin Anglican School.
