After a fun and fiercely contested Inter House Carnival, it is always a great opportunity for our students to be given the opportunity to represent our school at the annual PSSA Interschool Swimming Carnival. After our fantastic effort last year, we were moved to a higher division, where we competed against Assumption, Austin Cove and MCC.

We knew it was going to be a difficult task, as the Carnival was scheduled at the same time as our Year 5 Camp. This didn’t deter our team and each of our competitors were committed to getting in the pool and swimming to the best of their ability. We had some good results across the board, with many of our students winning ribbons in their respective races, which included freestyle, breastroke and backstroke. An absolute highlight was when our very own Elizabeth Bell, who made the journey from Year 5 Camp, was awarded the Runner Up Champion Girl for Year 5.

As always, we are proud of their effort, performances, but most importantly, their sportsmanship and the way they upheld our school values. A huge thank you to Mrs Shepherd, Mrs Dal Bello, Mrs Teale, the Bell family and those who supported our team on the day.
