Our Year 9 Sail Lab students had an exciting day out at Mandurah Offshore Fishing and Sailing Club on Wednesday 8 April.
They spent time applying theory learnt in the classroom during Term 1, to the real world, utilising their knowledge both on a small-scale (racing RC model yachts), and large-scale sailing Hobie Catamarans.
The weather was kind on the day, with an increasing South Westerly wind providing good sailing conditions in the afternoon.
