Congratulations to Emma Tomlinson (Year 11) and Charlotte Finister (Year 9) who both recently represented Western Australia at the 2025 Horseland Australian Inter-School Championships held at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre.
Both girls rode borrowed horses and after only a few practice rides to get to know each other, Charlotte competed in the Working Hunter and 90cm Showjumping and Emma competed in the Show Hunter and 80cm Combined Training.
While they didn’t place individually, the experience of competing on horses they had only ridden a handful of times has helped them develop their skill sets and grow as riders. At the conclusion of the event, Team Western Australia were crowned the Overall Champion Small State (50 riders or less).
It was an amazing privilege for Charlotte and Emma to be a part of this team, riding alongside old and new friends and making incredible memories along the way.
