This year Frederick Irwin Anglican School had three teams compete in Round 1 of the WA School Sport High School Cup netball. Our three teams travelled to Fremantle Netball Centre to play in a round-robin format against schools from all over the metropolitan area.
All the teams had a great day. Our Year 7/8 team were undefeated, and our Year 9/10 team were undefeated which means they will progress through to the next round. Our Year 11/12 team only lost one game to a strong side from Willetton Senior High School.
As always, the girls represented Frederick Irwin with pride and fantastic sportsmanship. Thanks to Mrs Crane, Miss Hargreaves and Mrs Booker for coaching and Mignione Karg, Emma Jayne Potgeiter and Emily Forsyth who came as our umpires.
Congratulations to all the players for their determination and enthusiasm given all day.
