Welcome to our website. I hope that it will give you some insight into the many facets of our School.
Frederick Irwin Anglican School is a co-educational, Kindergarten to Year 12, day school, serving Mandurah, Rockingham, Pinjarra, Waroona and surrounding districts. As a school of the Anglican Schools Commission (Inc), we are proud of our Anglican tradition, broad based curriculum and holistic approach to education, all of which support our Mission Statement: To provide a high quality, inclusive, caring Christian education which encourages students to fulfil their potential.
Academic achievement is promoted and valued with students being encouraged to be creative thinkers and inquiring learners. Our curriculum and co-curricular programmes are designed to assist our students to develop confidence in their own abilities and to strive to achieve their personal best. Students are taught in modern purpose-built, air-conditioned facilities, including our newly built Year 7 Transition Centre.
Our Core Values of Respect, Responsibility, Honesty, Compassion and Courage inform our educational philosophy and practice; while our pastoral system underpins all that we do and seeks to provide a caring and supportive environment to our students.
Our community is inclusive and diverse, and our students are nurtured to show their care and compassion for others both within the community and beyond.
In our pursuit of developing the ‘whole’ child, we strive to ensure our students have the best possible educational experiences in a range of areas in order to acquire skills, attributes and qualities that will enable them to master the challenges of life and to be good citizens of the 21st Century.
We offer Open Mornings each semester for parents who are interested to see our School in operation.
With my best wishes
