Year 11 History Excursion
In a powerful and educational experience, our Year 11 Modern History students recently participated in the 'Courage to Remember' workshop at the Holocaust Institute of WA and visited the Perth Synagogue, immersing themselves in the study of key aspects of the Holocaust.
During this moving event, they had the invaluable opportunity to meet relatives of survivors who tragically lost loved ones in the Holocaust. This encounter not only deepened their understanding of history but also underscored the importance of remembrance and ensuring that the lessons of the past are never forgotten.
It was a profoundly impactful day for our students, promoting empathy and a commitment to the preservation of the memory of this significant historical event.
