Our students had an awesome experience during Week 3 on their Outdoor Education Camp in the Margaret River Region.

Classes were split into three camping groups at Contos and Jarrahdene Campgrounds.

The students had some incredible experiences, some of which they found physically challenging and others that were emotionally challenging. Abseiling off the 40 metre cliffs of Wilyabrup is both extremely challenging and awe inspiring. Other highlights included; kayaking around Malloy Island in Augusta, surfing the isolated beach of Boranup and cycling through the forest near Jarrahdene. I’m sure the students developed a greater appreciation for the environment as we had very good conditions in spectacular locations.

The students represented themselves extremely well. We were very impressed by their behaviour, attitude and support for each other. They fully embraced the experience and proved themselves to be very competent outdoor enthusiasts. I hope they were able to make great some memories that will last a life time!
