FIAS Equestrian Success
Over the April holidays, Year 12 students Chloe Gee and Lucy Luscombe and Year 7 student Emma Tomlinson represented our school at the Saddles Plus Interschool Equestrian Championships.
Chloe rode two horses over a variety of disciplines, often placing first and second in the same class. Chloe has earned national selection for her efforts. Emma and Lucy both rode well and placed towards the top of their classes.
Chloe will be sitting her Year 12 exams early and is taking her horse over to Melbourne to compete at the Melbourne 3 Day event. Chloe has had to qualify her horse Tia and will compete against adults, many of whom have been or still are Olympic equestrian riders.
Congratulations to all students and to Mrs Alison Gee who is the Team Manager. We wish Chloe luck at her upcoming National competition!
