Dear Parents and Carers
As somebody new to the Frederick Irwin Anglican School community, it can take a little bit of time to discover the culture of the school and to learn the “Freddies” way.
Fortunately I had the opportunity recently to proofread the 2024 'The Anchor' yearbook. This publication truly showcases the rich and diverse learning experiences our students participate in each and every day, whether it be in the classroom, on school grounds, or out and about in our community.
Our dedicated staff go above and beyond to ensure all students find joy and excitement in their school journey and they actively encourage them to participate in everything we offer.
Each and every page of The Anchor is a wonderful collection of articles and photos that capture school life and further add to the strong sense of community that we have at FIAS.
Across many different carnivals, excursions, School events, House Days, and community events, our staff and students live and breathe our School Values and immerse themselves into the culture we have.
I certainly enjoyed reading The Anchor and when it is released, I encourage all staff, students and parents to take time to read through it and enjoy this celebration of the “Freddies” way.
Kind regards
Mr Shane Parnell
Deputy Principal
