Congratulations to Year 6 student Fraser de Mouncey, who has been accepted into West Australian Young Voices (WAYV).
WAYV are the premier children's choir in Perth, and work closely with the West Australian Opera. He underwent a rigorous auditioning process involving multiple aural and oral vocal tests, choral performance, sight reading and theory.
At 10 years old he is the youngest chorister of his ensemble, led by Head Conductors, Perry Joyce and Katie How. Fraser has been doing singing lessons with Mr Ammon Bennett at Frederick Irwin Anglican School since Year 3, and enjoys singing both classical and contemporary music - although his favourite genre to listen to is rock!
