Congratulations to Year 10 student Dylan Bailey and Year 11 student James Mouton, who recently competed in the National Sport Climbing Championships.

Dylan participated in the Bouldering and Lead Climbing disciplines. In the Lead Climbing category, he secured a spot in the finals, where he achieved first place in his age group. This result has earned him the top ranking in Australia for Lead Climbing in his category. In Bouldering, Dylan finished with a commendable 18th rank.

James also did extremely well at the Championships, placing fourth in Bouldering and eight in Lead Climbing which were fantastic results.

Dylan has now been invited to join the Australian Youth Climbing team and will have the opportunity to represent Australia at the 2025 Youth World Championships in Helsinki, Finland in August.
