'Illuminate' Art Exhibition

Dear Parents and Carers

On behalf of the Principal, Mrs Tracey Gray, we would like to invite you to the visit our Inaugural 2024 ‘Illuminate’ Art Exhibition at the Kwobadiny Sports Centre, Frederick Irwin Anglican School.

The 2024 ‘Illuminate’ Art Exhibition will be a wonderful collection of artwork from our very talented Visual Arts, Childcare, Digital Technology and Design and Technology students in Year 7 to Year 12. 

‘Illuminate’ (meaning to bring to the fore) is the theme for the Art Exhibition, and we are very excited to shine a light on all our brilliant and creative students who are participating. 

Please see below the dates and times the Exhibition will be open to our Frederick Irwin Anglican School Community members.

• Thursday 10 October - Opening Night (Invitation only to families of exhibiting students)
• Friday 11 October – Open to FIAS Families until 9pm 
• Monday 14 October – Open to FIAS Families until 9pm 
• Tuesday 15 October - Open to FIAS Families until 9pm. Quiet viewing from 4.30pm - 6.00pm
• Wednesday 16 October - Open until 6pm (Then private viewing for the Year 12 Presentation Evening (Invitation Only)
• Thursday 17 October - Open to FIAS Families until 9pm 
• Friday 18 October - Open to FIAS Families until 12 noon

Opening Night Information

There will be a Presentation Ceremony for exhibiting students on the Opening Night, with Year Level Winners and Highly Commended certificates, from 7.30pm. Thank you to all of our wonderful sponsors, as there will be $2400 worth of prizes awarded on the evening!

The Opening Night Presentation will also feature Guest Speakers, Alumni Marshall Boucaut and Jules Turner; co-owners of Fashion Brand TurnerBoucaut.
