Rose House Day 2017
Rose House students enjoyed their House Day during Week 8 of Term 2. The day began with a quickly sold-out bacon and egg muffin with hash brown breakfast, available to all students and staff across primary and secondary.
Rose House students then participated in the House Eucharist, with special visitor Father Philip Po from Thandaung Gyi, Myanmar who gave blessings and distributed communion.
The good weather continued over recess, and by lunchtime, Primary Rose students were ready for their special lunch and mascot raffle. Senior students joined the Primary students before everyone headed down to the oval for an extended lunch of fun sports and activities!
While Year 7 to Year 10 enjoyed a pizza lunch, they were surrounded by flag belt chasey, tug-of-war, minute-to-win-it, face painting, egg and spoon races, sack races and a kicking competition.
A fantastic day concluded with the thanking all the staff and students involved.
