Arnold House Day
Primary Arnold House students celebrated their House Day last Wednesday, in true Arnold style!
Primary students attended an energetic Assembly, where the Arnold House Captains and other Year 6s led a fast-paced rap which explained the differences between the School’s Core Values, with the help of King Core Value.
Selected Secondary Arnold students were then on hand to assist with the delivery of the Arnold special lunches to Primary students in the Primary Undercover Area; however, not before the Arnold House Mascot was officially drawn and handed over to the winning student.
Once lunch was finished, Primary Arnold students ran over to the top oval to participate in an extended special lunch period, filled with activities run by Senior Arnold students, and organised by Arnold Head of House, Mrs Anne Crock.
After an exciting (and exhausting) lunch filled with flag-belt, face painting, sack races, egg and spoon races, soccer shoot-outs, tug-of-war and cricket, students returned to their normal classrooms.
Thank you to all staff and students who helped and participated in Arnold House Day – especially Mr Noah Clark, who seems to be taking this tug-of-war competition very seriously!Tags:
