Year 8
The Year 8 curriculum contains a well-balanced introduction to a wide range of subjects. The curriculum provides an effective foundation for all subjects offered in later years. All Year 8 students study a common course, which is made up of two major components:
A core group of subjects which are studied for the whole year and a selection of subjects studied for one semester.
This gives all Year 8 students the opportunity to “have a go” at a range of subjects. All classes in Year 8 are heterogeneous and all subjects are suitable for both boys and girls.
