Fees and Charges

Frederick Irwin Anglican School fee structure aims to provide the difference between income provided by State and Commonwealth per capita grants, and the essential expenditure required for teaching and administration.

The annual tuition fees for 2008 are:

Kindergarten

$1,288.00

Pre-Primary - Year 7

$2,132.00

Secondary: Years 8-10

$3,500.00

Upper Secondary: Years 11-12

$3,840.00

One quarter of the annual tuition fees will be charged each term with payments due on the following dates:

Term 1:

18 February 2008

Term 2:

14 May 2008

Term 3:

6 August 2008

Term 4:

28 October 2008

Levies are charged to cover the cost of a variety of consumables used by students in the course of their studies. These levies are in addition to the tuition fees.

Primary Levies (Per Annum):

Kindergarten

$ 160.00

Pre-Primary - Year 7

$ 200.00

Secondary Subject Levies Per Year: (Per Annum billed in 4 equal instalments)

Years 8, 9, 10

$ 360.00

Years 11-12

$ 384.00

Additional Fees:

Costs for excursions, camps and special model projects in wood and metal work are additional to the tuition fee and levies.

Payment of Accounts:

Tuition fees and charges may be paid by cheque, Bankcard, Mastercard, Visacard, BPay, direct debit or cash. Payments will be accepted by mail, telephone or personally at the School Office where EFTPOS facilities are available.

A late payment fee of $55.00 (GST included) applies to accounts not paid by the due date, and for which no late payment arrangement has been agreed with the Bursar.

Student Accident Insurance:

All students attending this School are covered 24 hours per day 365 days per year against accidental injury under a "Student Accident Insurance Plan". Details of the benefits are available from the Bursar.

Goods and Services Tax:

GST legislation provides that most costs incurred in educational courses are GST free, however, there are some activities and expenses that will attract the GST. When this occurs parents will be provided with a "Tax Invoice" indicating the GST payable.
