Scholarships
Academic Scholarships are available to students entering Year 8
and Year 11. The Year 8 Examination is in March and scholarships for the following
year are awarded by mid-April.
The Year 11 Examination is in August and Scholarships for the following year are
awarded by mid-September.
Music Scholarships are awarded to students entering Year 8 and Year 11. The awarding
of Music Scholarships is based on auditions that take place on dates
close to the Year 8 and Year 11 Academic Scholarship examination.
Students will be awarded either an Academic or a Music Scholarship.
Music and Academic Scholarships are awarded for the duration of a student's
secondary schooling at Frederick Irwin, subject to continuing satisfactory performance.
The Scholarship covers 50% of the annual School tuition fees.
