Inter-school Sport
Following Frederick Irwin's own Interhouse Athletics and
Swimming Carnivals and Cross-country we compete in the SWISSA and ACC Interschool Carnivals.
SWISSA (South West Independent Schools Sports Association) is an association
of independent schools based south of Perth, that was formed to give students
opportunities to participate in Interschool Carnivals in Athletics, Cross-country
and Swimming. Events are split between those around Mandurah/Rockingham in the
north and Bunbury/Busselton to the south.
ACC (Associated and Catholic Colleges) has a membership of over 40 schools and
colleges, and a student membership in excess of 27,000. Our School participates in their swimming Carnival
and their Athletics Carnival both of which are held in Perth.
