Drama Department
Drama currently provides a wide variety of benefits for students
from Years 4 to 12 at the School. In addition to exploring and developing their
creative talent both on stage and behind the
scenes, students who do Drama can also develop self-confidence and learn to work
with other students outside the comfort of their friendship circles.
The Drama curriculum enables students to learn about the history and development
of the theatre as well as the more technical aspects of performance from both
acting and production perspectives.
This is not only achieved through classroom teaching, but also by participation
in a range of related activities such as performance evenings, excursions to
experience live theatre, participation in workshops with professionals from
Perth theatre companies and of course the School Production.
